Medicine Creek Reservoir (Harry Strunk Lake) is located approximately 3 miles southeast of Stockville, Nebraska, in Frontier County. There is approximately 1,850 acres of water and approximately 30 miles of shoreline.

The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists the lake as having populations of Channel and Flathead Catfish, Crappie, Walleye, and White Bass. Anglers should note there is a 15" limit length limit on Walleye and Bass. White Bass seems to be the main focus of fishing at Medicine Creek, with summer catfishing coming in a close second.

The White Bass at medicine creek are taken mainly by minnows and shad off the Lime Creek area (Southwest) and off the Dam. Walleye sometimes are also taken alongside the White Bass along the Dam, but seem to prefer deeper water than the white bass tend to school in.

Catfish at Medicine Creek are plentiful and easily caught. We fished at night in the upper end of the reservoir in the Mitchel Creek and Medicine Creek areas. Blood bait,, cut shad, and worms were all equally productive.

Facilities at Medicine Creek include primitive camping, several boat docks, showers, restrooms, fresh water, picnic grounds, and a full service marina.
