Wagon Train Lake is located approximately 3 miles east of Hickman, in Lancaster County, Nebraska. The lake is 315 surface acres, and there is a 5 mile per hour no-wake rule in effect.

The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission List the lake as having good populations of Bluegill, Carp, Channel and Flathead Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, and Walleye. Bluegill and Crappie are all through this lake, and can be easily taken by rubber worms and small spinners. Traditional tactics with nightcrawlers are productive for Bluegill and Catfish. Anglers should note there is a 15 inch limit on Largemouth Bass on this lake.

Facilities at Wagon Train are primitive with only one boat ramp, restrooms, and parking
