Willow Island Lake State Wildlife Management Area is located in Dawson County at the Cozad Interchange, 5 and one-quarter miles west of Cozad on Hwy 30.   The lake has 24 acres of water. The Nebraska State Game and Parks Commission lists Willow Island Lake as containing Carp, Channel Catfish and Largemouth Bass.   Facilities at Willow Island are very primitive.
